Quebec born Rita Thivierge is the artist-in-residence at The Gallery at Sandbanks Winery. She takes a contemporary approach to landscape painting, and focuses on colour and its light properties.

Ms. Thivierge has exhibited her colourful acrylic abstracts in over thirty galleries throughout the United States, Ontario and Quebec City. Rita has won awards both internationally and locally for her striking labels on the Sandbanks Estate Wines.
